Scenic Hungary

Have you already seen the Hungarian capital, Budapest? Would you like to see more in less time? Take a country tour with us, discover the diversity of the regions and enjoy the hospitality of five different hotels! The tour starts north-eastwards, with the visit of the romantic baroque Grassalkovich Palace in Gödöllő, then driving through the picturesque Mátra Mountains you will arrive at Eger, home of the famous “Bull’s blood” red wine and rich historical heritage.

After taking a look at the nice little town Mezőkövesd – famous for its Matyó folk art – the bus is heading to the south, to discover the Great Plain. You will visit Kecskemét with its beautiful Art Nouveau buildings, the “land of the red gold” Kalocsa – famous for its paprika and local folk art -; and a typical “csárda dinner” with gypsy music is also included. The southernmost stop of the tour is
Pécs, the “city of culture”.

Arriving to the vicinity of the “Hungarian Sea” Lake Balaton, the program includes the visit of Hévíz, the magnificent baroque palace of Keszthely, the Tihany peninsula, the “unofficial capital of the lake” Balatonfüred, the home of the world-famous porcelain Herend and the “Town of queens” Veszprém.

Waving goodbye to the area and driving through the Bakony Mountains, the tour ends with the visit of the World Heritage Sight Archabbey of Pannonhalma, and Győr known as the “City of 3 rivers”.
