Exciting new hotel openings

Despite the fact that 2020 brought unexpected and difficult challenges for the tourism sector, fortunately the year is not just about bad news. Many new or refurbished hotels have opened their doors, waiting to welcome travel enthusiasts as soon as possible.

 

Impulso Fashion Hotel****

The former Atlas Hotel of the Mellow Mood hotel group has been completely refurbished and reborn as Impulso Fashion Hotel. It is located close to a major transport hub, so all parts of the city are quickly accessible. Guests will find here 142 rooms, a restaurant for breakfast, a lobby bar and a meeting room.

Matild Palace*****

The famous Matild and Klotild palaces were built in 1902, during the Belle Epoque era, under the patronage of Her Imperial and Royal Highness Maria Klotild of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. The twin palaces were dreamed to be the social hub of the city and a symbolic gateway for those entering Elisabeth Bridge. Matild Palace, revisioned as a luxurious hotel awaits guests with 130 elegant rooms from March 2021. The services include a bistro restaurant, a secret liquor library and rooftop garden, a coffeehouse with contemporary cabaret shows, a spa area and several event rooms.

Ramada by Wyndham Budapest City Center****

This contemporary style boutique hotel is located right in the heart of the city, close to the famous Váci shopping street and the charming Danube promenade. The hotel has 52 rooms on four floors. In the rooftop Vue Lounge & Bar guest can enjoy not only their breakfast, but also bistro style dinners and nice wines in the evening.

BOTANIQ Castle of Tura*****

The fairytale castle of Tura was built in 1883 as a blend of Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Baroque styles. After several years in oblivion, the building reopened as a majestic castle hotel, located around 50 kms far from Budapest. For the comfort of the guests there are 19 rooms, a restaurant with carefully selected menu, a spa island and a wonderful castle garden.
