Henri Matisse - Masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou in Paris

This is the first representative exhibition featuring Henri Matisse’s art in Hungary. The selection comprising seminal works from the Centre Pompidou is supplemented with pieces from other European public collections. The more than one hundred exhibited works will be arranged into eight chronological-thematic sections, and the exhibition will also highlight the diversity of genres in Matisse’s oeuvre. Sziget Festival

Jewish Cultural Festival

Csabai Sausage Festival

For more than two decades, this cheerful revelry has been attracting lots of visitors to Békéscsaba, the home of the paprika-and-cumin-based “Csabai sausage”, recognized as a Hungaricum. Several hundred people will knead and stuff sausages together during this four-day event, where traditional producers and local artisans will offer their products while Hungarian musicians will play on the stage.

El Greco Exhibition
