Fascinating performance groups from all corners of the world arrive to the weeklong festivities each year to provide an exciting carnival atmosphere. The celebrations reach their climax on 20 August, when all unique flower compositions, decorated with several hundred thousand flowers illustrating scenes from legends and fairy tales, are rolled through the streets of Debrecen.
