This year, the red wine festival will be held again in Villány, which is the southernmost and one of the most popular red wine producing regions in Hungary. Traditionally held on the first weekend of October – during the harvest season – the festival features not only the finest red wines, but also a variety of traditional, artistic and cultural programs. One of the happiest elements of the event is the harvest procession.
