European tourism opens up day by day, and we are pleased to say that Hungary is doing the same. The restart begun with the reopening of restaurants, hotels, museums and baths in May, and after the long weeks of quarantine, locals were finally allowed to hit the road and visit their favourite places again. (Soon you can read our personal post-lockdown travel reports too) And now we are happy to say, that borders are opening and the incoming tourism can restart as well.

Travellers can pack their bag

According to the latest announcements countries are classified in 3 categories – red, yellow and green -, based on the severity of the situation in each. There are different rules for each category, but travellers from green zones can travel to Hungary without restrictions.

The green category includes among others Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands. Click here for more details!
